Under the leadership of Dr. Paul Cannings, the vision of Power Walk Ministries Inc. is to partner with churches to disciple leaders and others based on biblical training as modeled by Jesus Christ in an effort to impact the community and the world for the glory of God.
Dr. Paul Cannings, long considered “the teacher’s teacher” among leading pastors and clergy, is the Senior Pastor of Living Word Fellowship Church in Houston, Texas. He provides spiritual direction and leadership to the growing congregation and is a sought-after speaker on the national and international stage.

Dr. Cannings studied in Oxford University, England, and holds a Doctorate in Philosophy/Theological Studies in Religion and Society from Oxford Graduate School in Dayton, TN. He earned a Masters Degree in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Austin College, Sherman, Texas.
Founder and President of Power Walk Ministries, Dr. Cannings is a sought-after speaker on the national and international stage and is a world-renowned author and conference leader.
Striving To Better The Community
Dr. Cannings is also the President of Living Word Christian Academy, a Christian school for children from 2 years old - 5th grade. Striving to better the community, he also founded the area’s only four-star accredited pre-school. He has also established an outreach ministry; The Christian Outreach Center, to help families living in crisis.
He is the author of numerous books, including the newest release, “Give Fear A Knock Out Punch”; “Making Your Vision A Reality” and most requested “Leadership Training Manual”.
Dr. Cannings can be heard daily in Houston on KHCB 105.7FM, also, where he host a live Q and A program; Oneplace.com and is seen on local TV My20 Houston.
Dr. Cannings and his wife Everette are the parents of two adult sons, Paul Jr., and Pierre who are married to Tanisha and Monica respectively; with seven grandchildren.
